Overview
Use Issue Key Fob to issue an iLOQ Fob credential.
Like Phone Keys, the Key Fob can be assigned one or more Access Profiles and can optionally be configured with an expiration date and time.
Before You Begin
Before issuing a Key Fob:
- The Person must exist in SOC Manager.
- The Person must be associated with the appropriate Site.
- At least one Access Profile must be available for the Site.
- An unassigned Key Fob must exist in the respective Site.
- A Phone Key must be available to complete Key Fob programming.
1. Open Key Fob
From the SOC Manager Home page, click Issue Key Fob.

2. Confirm Phone Key Available
A Phone Key is required to complete the Key Fob issuance.
If a Phone Key is available select Confirm, otherwise select Cancel.

If Confirm is selected, the following form is displayed

3. Select the Site
Select the Site where the Key Fob will be used.
The Site acts as a filter for the Person list. This prevents you from having to search through a large organization-wide list of people.
4. Select the Person
Select the Person who will receive the Key Fob.
Only Persons associated with the selected Site are displayed.
Once a Person is selected, the list of unissued Key Fobs will be displayed.
5. Select the Key Fob
Select the unissued Key Fob that will assigned to the Person.
Only unissued Key Fobs at the respective Site are displayed.
Once a Key Fob is selected, the available Access Profiles will be displayed.
6. Enter the Key Information
Enter a Key Description. The Key Description is required and should help identify the purpose or owner of the key.
7. Select the Access Profile
Access Profiles determine what locks the Person will be able to open.
Select one or more Access Profiles for the Phone Key.
8. Set Key Fob Expiration
Key Fob expiration is optional.
To have the Key Fob automatically expire, select Key Expiration.
SOC Manager displays the additional expiration settings:
- Date & Time: Enter the date and time when the Phone Key will expire.
- Time Zone: Select the time zone that applies to the specified expiration date and time.
You can select the appropriate time zone from the list or click Pick Time Zone on Map.
If Key Expiration is not selected, no expiration date and time is assigned to the Phone Key.
9. Issue the Key Fob
After reviewing the Key Fob information, click Issue Key.
SOC Manager asks you to confirm that you want to issue the key.

Click Yes to issue the Key Fob.
Click No to return to the Issue Key screen without issuing.
10. Confirm the Key Was Issued
After the Key Fob is successfully issued, SOC Manager displays a confirmation message.
To complete the programming process, the issued Key Fob must be updated using a Phone Key.
SOC Manager then asks you to verify that the Key Fob has been programmed.

Selecting Verify Fob will verify that the Key Fob was programmed.
If successful, the following message is displayed.

If incomplete, the following message is displayed.

If not successful after 5 minutes of re-verification, please contact your Supervisor.
